1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Tokyo Found storefront, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all visitors, customers and account holders.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or are used for fraudulent activity.

3. Orders & pricing

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Prices are shown in your selected market's local currency and may change without notice. We reserve the right to cancel an order if a pricing or stock error occurs, in which case you will be refunded in full.

4. Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By placing an order you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for the total amount, including any applicable shipping and duties shown at checkout. We do not store your full card details.

5. Shipping

Delivery estimates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. We prepare export and import documentation for your market. Title and risk in the goods pass to you on delivery. Please refer to our Shipping & customs page for details.

6. Taxes, Customs & Personal Import

Orders fulfilled from a Tokyo Found warehouse in your country are sold as domestic shipments: the goods have already been imported, and the price you pay at checkout is final — all applicable import duties and taxes have been handled by us.

Orders shipped directly from Japan are sent as a personal import. You act as the importer of record: any import duties, VAT and customs fees levied by your country are not included in our prices and are payable by you, typically collected by the carrier or customs before delivery. These goods are for personal use only and may not be resold.

If customs charges are refused or import requirements are not met, the shipment may be returned, held or destroyed by the authorities; in that case shipping fees are non-refundable and any return costs or charges levied may be deducted from the refund. Import allowances and restrictions vary by country — please check your local rules before ordering.

7. Returns & refunds

Eligible items may be returned within 14 days of delivery, subject to the conditions on our Returns & refunds page. For health and safety reasons, opened cosmetics and supplements cannot be returned unless faulty on arrival.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the Tokyo Found storefront — including text, graphics, logos and product imagery — is owned by Tokyo Found or its licensors and is protected by applicable law. You may not reproduce or distribute it without permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tokyo Found is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the effective date shown above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
